Joliet Public Schools District 86 celebrated Illinois School Board Members Day on November 15, 2024. The day was an opportunity to honor nearly 6,000 elected school board members in Illinois who volunteer their time to provide a local voice for communities, a vision for school districts, and a pathway to success for students throughout the state.
The Joliet Public Schools District 86 Board of School Inspectors include President Elvis Madison, Jr., Vice President Jesse Smith, Gwendolyn Ulmer, R. Emil Standfield, Matthew Pritz, Sandra Aguirre, and Delia Ulloa-Jimenez.
“I would like to personally thank all seven members of our Board of School Inspectors for their service to the district, our students, and the entire District 86 community,” said Joliet Public Schools District 86 Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse. “They deserve this recognition for serving as advocates striving for quality education opportunities for all students.”
