The 2023-2024 school year is in the books. Congratulations again to our eighth-grade graduates! Best of luck to you in high school. Thank you to all the families and staff for making this school year a success.
Summer will be busy at the District office and schools preparing for the upcoming school year. Thank you, in advance, to our Building Support Services employees for their hard work this summer thoroughly cleaning our schools and completing maintenance projects. The JFK Center will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and closed on Fridays through August 2nd.
We look forward to having over 650 students participate in this year's Summer School. All District 86 families are invited to our Reading & Picnic on the Lawn on Thursday, July 18th at Farragut Elementary and Gompers Junior High Schools from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Please click HERE to RSVP by July 11th for this fun event.
Thank you to the families who have already registered your children for the upcoming school year. Over 55% of students are currently registered! We need the remaining students registered as soon as possible so principals can prepare classroom rosters and our Transportation Department can finalize bus routes.
Student registration can be completed online at our Registration website. Returning families only need to provide proof of residency. Please log into your Aspen Family Portal Account to begin. If you need to reset your password, or if you are new to District 86 and need to set up a new account please visit our Family Portal Help website for assistance.
If you need help with registration, staff are available from June 10 - July 18, 2024 at the following schools on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 - 6:30 p.m.
