End of Year Reflection

As this year comes to a close, it is important to reflect on our journey. We began the year continuing our theme of H.O.P.E. with the addition of a lens of equity. Our journey toward equity will be our lifelong pursuit as we work to strengthen the foundation of learning for our students and the professional development of our staff. Equity is the foundation upon which our work in early literacy, mastery by grade three and eight, and digital citizenship will be accomplished.
These goals were set at the beginning of this school year as five year strategic goals built upon our foundational pillars. Our pursuit of these goals will be a process of learning and growing together over the five year span. We will deepen our focus on the goals in the coming year.
We have celebrated forty-one retirements this year and are welcoming many new members to our team. We honor those who have come before us by pursuing even greater levels of achievement as our journey continues.
The end of the year provides an excellent opportunity for reflection, rejuvenation, and planning for the next year. This cycle continues and we are striving for growth and improvement along the way.
Let's take the time this summer to rejuvenate and recharge our bodies and souls.
