October is also National Bullying Prevention Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and promoting kindness, inclusion, and respect among all students and employees. Our schools will be focusing on activities and discussions to help students understand the importance of standing up to bullying in a positive and constructive way. Any allegation of bullying should be reported to schools using any of these methods:
Bullying of any kind is never tolerated in any of our schools!
Don’t forget that October 15, 2024 is the deadline to turn in your physical exams and/or required immunization records for all Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th grade, and new transfer students from out of state. Forms must be provided to our schools by October 15, 2024. Students will be excluded from school beginning October 16th if we do not receive the required information. Appointment dates past the October 15th deadline are no longer accepted by the State of Illinois. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school nurse.
Remember, if you have a question, comment, concern, or compliment about one of our schools or the District, send us a Let’s Talk message by visiting our District website or click on the Let’s Talk logo here.
