Beginning of the School Year

The school year is off and running! We are at the end of our first full week of school. As I visit our schools and classrooms, I have been seeing a lot of smiling faces. Everyone seems excited to be back in school and the classrooms look amazing! I hope you have been able to participate in your child's open house. There are still a few more remaining over the next couple of weeks.
As always, it is important that we are all reminded of safety measures for our students walking to school and those being dropped off at school by car or bus. Please follow the directions provided by school personnel for arrival and dismissal to ensure everyone remains safe. Also as you see buses driving around town, remember to stop if there are students entering or departing the bus.
The school year already feels like it is going to be a great year! Does that mean we will not have any problems? No. It does mean that we are working together to ensure that any issues that arise are addressed as quickly as possible and that the end result is always what is best for the children in our care.
