BULLYING, INTIMIDATION, AND HARASSMENT
Bullying, intimidation, and harassment diminish a student’s ability to learn and a school’s ability to educate. Preventing students from engaging in these disruptive behaviors and providing all students equal access to a safe, non-hostile learning environment are important District goals.

- Monthly review of discipline data demonstrates a low frequency of bullying.
- Student and staff observations confirm a safe environment at schools.
- There are no identifiable physical locations at schools that are prone to incidents of bullying.
- Reported incidents of bullying include both in-person actions and use of social media.
- No evidence of added participation in bullying by bystanders. Bystander students are encouraged to immediately report bullying through multiple reporting methods, presentations, and school-wide printed materials. Bystander staff are directed to intervene to prevent bullying.
